Two Years of Innovation on Display — How we helped Meta Connect spark excitement and shape the narrative around Meta’s breakthroughs in AI, VR, and wearables.
Meta Connect is the brand’s flagship annual event, showcasing its latest innovations and solidifying its leadership in tech. Across 2023 and 2024, Meta needed a strategic and creative partner to drive visibility, build excitement, and connect with diverse audiences. These milestone moments required a tailored approach: in 2023, the focus was on launching groundbreaking products, including Meta AI, Meta Quest 3, and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, at the first in-person Connect since the pandemic. In 2024, the challenge shifted to sustaining momentum by showcasing Meta’s continued progress and accelerating innovation. Both years demanded a social-first strategy, seamless coordination across teams, and the ability to deliver impactful content under tight deadlines, connecting key messages to audiences as quickly as possible.
Across both years, Artemis Ward solidified its role as Meta’s go-to partner for shaping their brand story on social platforms. While each event had a distinct strategy, both delivered measurable impact. In 2023, we turned Meta Connect into a must-watch event with creator campaigns, teaser content, and live coverage driving over 14M impressions and 114k engagements across 26 organic posts. We also managed live activations, creator briefings, and cross-agency coordination to launch Meta’s latest products. In 2024, we delivered same-day content that transformed keynote announcements into shareable posts, earning 4.9M impressions and 65k engagements across just nine organic posts. By building pre-event buzz and executing seamlessly on the day, we reinforced audience trust and showcased Meta’s innovation during a time of rising skepticism around AI.
