Informed by more than 20 years as a designer, strategist, and user-experience expert, Joel — a founding partner at Artemis Ward — oversees the agency’s experience design and development practice. He’s partnered with global brands like PepsiCo, USAID, and Mastercard Foundation, as well as startups and small businesses across the country. Joel is the founding host of CreativeMornings/DC, a monthly speaker series for creatives that he organized and emceed for eight years. A 20-year resident of D.C. — where he lives with his wife and two daughters —  Joel hails from Wisconsin and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.
