Artemis Ward Welcomes Leila Milgrim and Michael Wilson to New Leadership Positions

Artemis Ward, an independent strategy-led creative agency headquartered in Washington, D.C., is excited to welcome new additions to its executive and management teams: Leila Milgrim as Head of Strategy and Michael Wilson as Vice President of Design. These two new roles mark a significant growth milestone for the agency during its tenth anniversary year.
As Head of Strategy, Leila oversees the day-to-day success of the agency in creating world-class work, including championing the AW brand; promoting collaboration among the creative strategy, content, and design teams; and leading strategic vision in our client projects. Before joining AW, Milgrim worked as a global strategy leader at Condé Nast for nearly five years, driving comprehensive creative strategies across Vogue, GQ, and Vanity Fair, among other brands. Her diverse experience, including her tenure as a marketing director for a concierge travel company in Florence, Italy, uniquely positions her to bring a fresh perspective to client strategic initiatives. Leila is based in New York City and will be responsible for establishing an Artemis Ward office presence there.
As VP of Design, Michael plays a pivotal role in shaping creative vision for both the agency and its clients. A key leader within Artemis Ward, he oversees the design team, develops innovative visual strategies, and spearheads top-tier creative projects. Spending much of his career on the West Coast, Michael brings over a decade of experience in the advertising industry with stints a TBWA\Chiat\Day, 72andSunny and Crispin Porter + Bogusky where he managed global creative efforts for Fortune 500 automotive, leisure, and tech companies. Most recently, he served as the Head of Marketing and Creative at Amres. Michael’s leadership experience in both agency and in-house settings equips him to drive forward-thinking design solutions at AW. Michael will be based out of the D.C. office.

As part of the executive team at Artemis Ward, Leila and Michael sit alongside Colin Moffett (Co-Founder and CEO), Joel Daly (Co-Founder and CXO), Chris Maier (Head of Creative and Story), and Julia Korns (Vice President of Strategy & Growth). Together, this team will draw from their decades of cross-industry experience to propel the agency forward as it embarks on its next decade of good work with good people.
